A terrific session and thanks to Dave Wilkinson for organising it. The same pattern to follow for next week is what most including me are suggesting. Some comments from me about the players in my net: CKP: Weakness: too agressive before I was seeing the ball
Strength: striking the ball well some of the time Graham Rowley: Dependable as usual once he got going. Luke: Batting reasonable: Bowled well at Nick but too short and inaccurate to Dave wilkinson and Steve. Need to develop a slower ball with fast arm action Nick: Batted well against every one but Luke against whoom he first showed fear by backing away and then indiscipline bu not leaving or defending against him and hitting too many in the air. Also majorly dissapointed that he left early from our nets and did not see the session through...not good team play! Steve: Loved the wristy strokes and good pace and direction with bowling Dave wilkinson: Excellent umpiring and discipline during batting. Could do with delaying front foot movement a fraction in my humble opinion. Paul:Look forward to seeing him bat next week.
