Chadlington put us into bat. The plan of taking advantage of fielding restrictions to score at a high rate was executed brilliantly by Nick Hill, Graham Rowley and Joey Cazabon allowing us to score around 100 in the first 15 overs. After this we fell into the trap of losing momemtum with the run rate such that with a couple of unfortunate runouts coupled with indifferent strokes from a few batsman including myself led to a poor final total of 149 all out.
Danny Harding as expected batted brillaintly for Chadlington and never gave us a sniff of victory.
