A gripping match played by evenly matched teams in a competitive but fare and friendly spirit, Kennington just made it. There were decent contributions by several Kennington batsman with the lower order losing their way a little resulting in a good score but perhaps 20 runs short of what seemed likely at one point. East Oxford got off to a flyer with aggressive batting by the openers. Karim Sutton then applied pressure at one end by bowling tightly and 3 wickets in one over by Duncan Robson brought Kennington back into the match. The pendulum swayed back in East Oxfords favour as their middle order remained calm but superb catching from Kennington and sensible bowling from Mike Thompson saw Kennington home.MOM:Duncan Robson for TOP score 45, 3 wickets in one over, catch of the day
