Kennington U15s v Buscot Park 11.06.07 Lost by 9 wickets. The Kennington Batsmen got off to a good start, the running between the wickets was superb. When Ben Andre was well caught on the boundary for 13, the attack was carried on by Josh Haynes (33) and Jack Spencer-Matthews (31). The later Buscot bowlers found a line and length and restricted Kennington to 103; disappointing after a fine start. The Kennington bowlers struggled and the fielding was put under pressure by the good running of the first three batsmen. The energy and spirit that was so evident last Friday was missing, and the Buscot batsmen were not troubled, losing only one wicket before reaching their target with over two overs to spare. Credit must go to Johnny Stuart who kept wicket for the first time and did such a good job that only one bye was conceded. Next match, at Shrvenham 25th June.
