Another convincing win for the 8-a-side team, following last week's victory by 113 runs - this time by 176 runs!

Kennington lost the toss and batted first on a really wet artifical strip - the square was too wet and was unplayable. Despite the low bounce, Hugo van Dorssen batted superbly, scoring 39 no; George Tierney scored 20, though two poor shots (!) to straight balls spoiled his contribution; Ben Rencher captained well and scored 17 no; Josh Sissons batted superbly too and scored 27, batting with Hal Parke, 16 no. The final total was 325, beating last week's score by two runs.

In the field Kennington were really impressive, taking 14 wickets including 4 excellent runouts, and two wonderful catches by Josh Sissons in the deep, and Alex Gordon closer to the bat. Josh's leg spin was unplayable, and he took 4 for 8; Hal Parke's off spin claimed 3 for 15 including two excellent caught and bowled. Jack Crowe was too fast for the Cumnor batters, and he removed the off stump from the ground on one occasion! Cumnor closed on 147.
