Abingdon Vale struggled against accurate bowling and tight fielding from everyone. Alex Gordon took 2 for 18, and Hugo van Dorssen 1 for 7. Final score 231.

Kennington's reply began with the loss of a wicket from the first ball, but after that the first pair Chris Tayler and Hugo took the score to 218. The second pair, George Tierney (28 no) and Alex Gordon then took the score past Abingdon Vale's, to 236. Jack Crowe and Alex Pigott then added a further 21, without loss, and finally Josh Sissons (21 no) and Ben Rencher took the score to 290, again without further loss of wickets.

Overall an excellent performance, especially considering the wet artificial wicket, wet out-field and wet ball!
